History of Our Church
Brean Methodist Church was established in the late 1700s and the village was visited by John Wesley in 1769.
The first chapel ( 1765-1847) was in one of the local farmhouses and it later moved to a cottage adjacent to the present site.
The present building was opened in 1933.
